![]() I am building a small format live rack centered around an APB ProRack House console and active three way speakers. can be useful if you have the skills and possibly the tools to apply them properly, otherwise in that kind of situation a simple one-third octave graphic equalizer may often be all you really need. Functions such as parametric equalization, high and low pass filters, shelving filters, etc. If you have a simple system, say mixer main left and right out to two main speakers, then you may not benefit much from any more advanced signal routing, delays, crossovers, etc. A great device, or multiple devices, poorly applied may give a lesser result than a cheaper box well applied. ![]() Sound quality is really all that I care about at the end of the day.The results you get with any system processing, either analog or digital, is going to depend on how effectively it is implemented. If all things are the same, the unit occupying less rack space would likely win. I want as many quality options and as much flexibility as possible. Well, in short, I want this to sound as good as it possibly can.
